The Ademuz and Fusta bridges in the city of Valencia will remain closed during the months of July and August. Therefore, only residents who live in the surroundings and public transport can access this area.

The reason

The renewal of a water pipe will mean the clossing of 2 roads, affecting two of the busiest bridges in our city. Both areas will remain in works from July 2, with an estimated completion by the end of August.
We are in the first phase of the process that is carried out by the Integral Water Cycle Service which is focused on Blanquería, blocking access to the underpasses of the Petxina and the right side between the Ademuz and the Fusta bridges.

We are at the end of June and the numerous complaints from the taxi sector are still heard in every corner of the city of Valencia.

When and where?

This time the protest took place on June 21 at the gates of the PSPV, where numerous taxi drivers came together to claim what is fair to them: to review the New Taxi Law, specifically, the regulation of the 12 + 4 time slot.

There are a few days left until summer arrives and getting around the city will become an odyssey. The high temperatures do not only bring the annoying mosquitoes that we have to live with, but also makes harder the use of bicycles and is accompanied by a shortage of public services.

During this last month, the Valencian taxi guild has been assessing the new law that the Generalitat soon intends to issue, named: 12 + 4.

The Taxi Law states that vehicles with a taxi license in the city of Valencia will have to divide their service into two time slots. This way, a taxi driver can work from 6 AM to 2 AM for a maximum of 12 hours; and in case they want to extend the work load, it should be exclusively in the range from 2 AM to 6 AM accumulating a total of 16 hours.
