The Spanish Committee for Representatives of Persons with Disabilities (CERMI) will request the future leaders of Valencia's City Council to develop a specific inclusion program for those with disabilities, advocating for special attention regarding labor integration. With this objective, the group is committed to demand that only public entrepreneurs that proove they set aside 2% of their jobs to people with disabilities can participate in public biddings, as established by current legislation. At the same time, they also advocate the use of other measures such as holding a minimum of 6% of municipal contracts for protected employment companies, or increasing the quota, for disabled people in public jobs, from 5 to 7%, in different administrations.
